Class 8

Class 8

So today in class we had gone over quite a bit of stuff I had some knowledge of; So todays blog may be shorter then expected.
We had reviewed and gone over creating a word document, and enabling tracking and editing on it, Then emailed the doc. to a class mate. And then we had to edit it and add one comment to it before then re-sending the doc. to our mate.
Over all the feature is really useful for future references.

I had also found it very informative learning about Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and how they work.
This aparatus  is made to be a emergency PSU meant for but not soley  blackouts and or brownouts; UPS far exceeds backup emergency power system or a standby generator because during a brownout or blackout the device is instantaneous(It has a battery). Now these UPS' come in many shapes and or sizes, But you can get one to fit your very own home work space desktop!

One question I have in regards to all this, Is why are UPS not in more common use in this day and age.

Now I would like to type more, of course to re iterate this into my brain one more time. But sadly i'm starving;  So I have to log off, if anyone is reading these, Leave a comment or some trace of a view.

  1. Did you know that the on-battery runtime of most uninterruptible power sources is pretty short (usually a few minutes) but sufficient to start a standby power source or properly shut down the protected equipment.
