Day 9

Day 9

So today was actually a very good day, I did know some of the stuff we were being taught. But of course I learnt much more then I had hoped!

Where should I start, How about Ram types and specs.
Ram is a group of semi conductors- semi conductors are chips that are soldered to the board of Ram it self. Ram is volatile. Constant electrical charge and a refresh charge keep the data in the ram it self, This refresh can cause delays on the CPU How ever modern CPUs are clever.
The ram goes and grabs the data and takes it down to the EBD so the CPU can act on the code; The RAM uses source codes and the CPU uses op codes address bus and external data.

I will skip a few obsolete Ram types, and jump to DDR3 the god send to anyone who uses a Computer.
DDR3 not to be mistaken for GDR3; It is way more useful, It has higher speeds, 30% Less power comes with 240 D PINS and 204 L pins; DDR3 also has a doubled buffer from 4 bits to 8 bits extended memory profile, Ideal for overclocking your rig.
It comes with Higher density memory chips as well. Sooner then later there will be a 16 gb on ddr3, and some mobos can do triple channel interjectory; Which quadruples clockspeed because the buffer size is increased so it grabs as much data every clock cycle

Well my damn nose wont stop running and i'm hacking like a witch, so ill end this with one question.
Why did it take so long for dual architecture to come along for RAM?
